Dr. Emily Nelson

Dr. Emily earned her veterinary degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021, and began working at Point Area Veterinary Clinic shortly after.  She has a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Wisconsin Platteville, and is a graduate of Pacelli High School in Stevens Point. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, with some special interest in preventative care, nutrition, and behavior. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her dog Brie. She also enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors running and hiking, and reading.
